Most of what we do starts after dark and asks for ID at the door. This does neither. Menacing Monsters is a PG-13 outdoor sideshow made for festivals: monsters roaming the crowd, scheduled sets through the day, and photo moments that people take home and post.
It has run with FrankenFest at the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse in Port Huron and again in Detroit, free to attend with a suggested donation for the drag show. That model works: the festival gets a headline attraction at no gate cost, and the cast is funded by the crowd it draws.
If you programme a fall festival, a haunt trail or a daytime street event, this is the version of Monster Presents that fits it.
