Every Monster Presents!™ experience is a little different. Some happen in theaters. Some take over bars, restaurants, festivals, zoos and places that probably did not expect this much chaos.

Your individual event page is always the best source for exact times, age requirements, accessibility, ticket information and what is included.

What is Monster Presents!™?

Monster Presents!™ is a Michigan-born alternative entertainment company creating original live experiences across drag, burlesque, comedy, magic, variety, immersive nightlife, dining, festivals and theatrical entertainment.

Drag is part of our DNA. It is not our ceiling.

Are Monster Presents!™ events all ages?

It depends on the experience.

Some Monster events are designed for all ages or family audiences. Others are 18+, 21+ or require guests to be 21+ to purchase alcohol.

Always check the individual event page before purchasing tickets.

What does my ticket include?

That depends on the event.

Your event page will tell you exactly what is included with each ticket type. Depending on the experience, that could include general admission, reserved seating, food, drinks, games, VIP extras, merchandise or other perks.

If it is not listed as included, assume it is not included.

Are food and drinks included?

Sometimes.

Monster Presents!™ works with restaurants, bars, theaters, attractions and other venues, so food and beverage arrangements vary.

If a meal, drink ticket or other food and beverage item is included with your ticket, it will be clearly listed on the event page.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Assume no unless the event or venue specifically says otherwise.

Alcohol policies are determined by the venue and the requirements of each event.

How long are your events?

There is no standard Monster runtime.

A theatrical production might run 90 minutes. Bingo could take several hours. An immersive nightlife takeover may last most of the evening. A festival appearance might happen throughout the day.

Check the event page for doors, start time and expected end time.

Do you have assigned seating?

Some events do. Some do not.

Depending on the venue and ticket type, seating may be assigned, reserved by section, VIP, general admission or first come, first served.

The event page will tell you how seating works.

Can my group sit together?

When reserved seating is available, we will do our best to keep groups together.

For events using general admission or first come, first served seating, arriving together and arriving early is your best bet.

If your group has special seating needs, contact us before the event.

Can I celebrate a birthday, bachelorette party or other occasion at a Monster event?

Absolutely.

Birthdays, weddings, divorces, anniversaries, bachelorettes, chosen-family celebrations and suspiciously specific personal victories are all welcome here.

Some experiences also offer group packages, VIP options or private bookings.

Do I need to dress up?

Usually not.

Some events may have a costume requirement, dress code or strongly encouraged theme. If they do, we will make that very clear on the event page.

Otherwise, come as yourself.

Preferably the interesting version.

Can I tip the performers?

Yes.

Tips are always appreciated at performances where tipping is appropriate. Some experiences may also provide digital tipping options or other ways to support the artists.

Never feel pressured. Applause still works.

Are your venues accessible?

Accessibility varies because Monster Presents!™ works in many different venues.

We include available accessibility information on individual event pages whenever possible, including details such as accessible entrances, restrooms, parking and seating.

If you need a specific accommodation and are unsure whether a venue can provide it, contact us before purchasing and we will help you find the information you need.

What happens if an event is postponed, rescheduled or canceled?

Instructions will be communicated directly to affected ticket holders.

Refund, transfer and ticket-credit policies may vary depending on the event and ticketing provider, so check the terms listed with your ticket purchase.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Sometimes, but do not count on it.

Door sales depend on capacity and availability. Some Monster experiences have limited seating or sell out in advance.

If you know you are coming, buying ahead is the safer move.

Where do Monster Presents!™ events happen?

Across Michigan and beyond.

We work with bars, restaurants, theaters, hotels, festivals, attractions, nightlife venues and unconventional spaces.

Some experiences tour. Others are created specifically for one location.

Can I book Monster Presents!™ for a private event?

Yes.

We create entertainment for birthdays, weddings, company events, private parties, venue takeovers and other celebrations.

We can recommend an existing Monster experience or build something around your audience, venue and occasion.

I own a venue. Can Monster Presents!™ produce an event here?

Absolutely.

We work with restaurants, bars, breweries, theaters, hotels, festivals, attractions and unconventional spaces to create entertainment that fits the room and gives people a reason to show up.

Tell us about your venue, capacity, audience and what you want the event to accomplish.

Do you work with festivals and community events?

Yes.

Monster Presents!™ can provide stage productions, roaming characters, sideshow and specialty entertainment, hosts, DJs, interactive experiences and custom programming for festivals and public events.

Do you work with sponsors and brands?

Yes.

We work with brands that want to be part of an experience rather than simply putting a logo on a flyer.

Partnerships can include event sponsorships, branded activations, product integrations, audience experiences and longer-term collaborations.

Is Monster Presents!™ the same as Monster Drag Collective?

No.

Monster Presents!™ is the live entertainment and production company.

Monster Drag Collective is the nonprofit side of the larger Monster ecosystem and supports community, artist development and qualifying charitable programming.

When a particular event benefits or is operated in partnership with a nonprofit organization, we will tell you.

I’m a performer. How do I work with Monster Presents!™?

Casting needs vary by production.

Monster Presents!™ works with drag artists, burlesque performers, hosts, DJs, musicians, sideshow artists, specialty performers, character entertainers and other wonderfully difficult-to-categorize humans.

Watch our audition and casting announcements for current opportunities.

Still confused?

Fair. We build strange things.
